We provide opportunities for the youth to envision solutions for their business and for the country through our Challenge Programme. This programme is developed to gather, assess and provide funding for executable business ideas of young entrepreneurs in Ghana.

RESILIENT GHANA Mentors

Our mentors are seasoned professionals carefully selected from the various sectors to help drive our vision. These individuals are ever-willing to contribute and support the youth in any capacity possible. We also ensure that resource persons who facilitate our programmes are positioned to guide our mentees to grow their skills, make better decisions and gain new perspectives in their personal and professional lives. The expertise of our mentors and resource persons empowers RESILIENT GHANA to deliver quality and practical content in our programmes.

BIOGRAPHY

Judith is a well-focused and passionate young woman who is Ghanaian by birth. She has a BA from the University of Ghana and an MBA the University of Cape Coast.

She is a Certified Project Management Consultant. Professionally, she has 14 years’ experience in banking spanning across Retail, Transactional, Corporate and Private banking from four (4) different banks in the country. She is currently the Head of Export Trade at Ghana Exim Bank. Privately, she is the CEO of an agribusiness company that supports activities in commercial farming.

Her passions are Athletics, Reading and Event management

Ms. Quainoo is a Global Goals Advocate and Consultant with over 18 years’ experience in the Development Sector specifically in the areas of Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Investment Finance, Trade and International Business.

She currently holds an MBA in International Business and Management from the Hanze University, Groningen, The Netherlands and an MA in International Business from the Anglia Ruskin University, UK. She also has a Bachelor in Entrepreneurship (First Class Honours) from the Greenhill College, GIMPA, Accra.

She is a Management Consultant for Shinkaafa Buni rice Farmers’ Association and played a pivotal role in its formation in 2016. As the Focal Person for the USAID FinGAP project at MEL Consulting Ltd between 2015 and 2018, she facilitated financing for a number of women Aggregators and Farmers which led MEL to become a top Business Advisory Services Provider under the Project.

She is also an Independent Business Development Consultant for MNC Capital Advisors Africa an Investment Advisory firm based in South Africa facilitating finance for SMES and Financial Institutions in Sub Saharan Africa. She won the Country (Ghana) and West African Award for CEO Global Magazine South Africa’s Pan African Awards for the Most Influential Woman in Business and Government 2019/2020 in SMEs and Agriculture.

Dr. David Boohene is a member of the Interscience Research Network (IRNet) which is a group of Professors and researchers working across the globe with a mission to disseminate information about the recent research findings and help the research community to learn state of the art technology.

Dr. David Boohene specializes in Development Studies and Economics. He currently serves as a Management consultant and a member of the Editorial Board for the International Journal of Research in Business Studies (www.ijrbs.com).

In the area of Teaching, Dr. David Boohene has taught varied courses in Management and Economics in universities in Ghana and overseas such as Project Management, Organizational Change, Organizational Development, Health Management and Nursing Administration, Occupational Health and Safety, International Human Resource Management, Agricultural Policy and Analysis, Agro-Industrial System Development, Engineering economics, Entrepreneurial Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Economy of Ghana.

Mrs. Harriet Afriyie-Adjimi is a counsellor by profession with over ten (10) years’ experience in planning, coordinating, and facilitating training programs. She is passionate about counselling the youth and committed to working with poor, marginalized, and vulnerable communities and have impacted positively many relationships and marriages. She is also a health coach and passionate about optimal wellness and health.

Mrs. Afriyie-Adjimi has a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counselling from University of Cape Coast, Ghana and an MBA in Strategic Management and Consulting from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology). She is currently completing an MPhil in Guidance and Counselling at the University of Cape Coast. She is married with three children, and her hobbies include, reading, cooking and exercising.

With a first degree in Sociology/Political Science and Masters of Business Administration (Marketing) from the University of Ghana, Legon, I have 18 years of Sales and Marketing industry experience in Mining, Engineering/ Power tools, Air, Land and Sea freighting. Ending in plastics, I was a triple award winner of the maiden Ghana Star Packaging Awards organized by the Institute of Packaging Ghana and World Packaging Organization. I was instrumental in the development of AquaSplash water bottle, Unilever Frytol bottle and Kasapreko’s shift from glass to plastic.

I have also been in academia for the past 13years and lectured at Regent University and currently at Wisconsin International University College in the field of Entrepreneurship and Event Management. I also lecture Customer service management at the Chartered Institute of Bankers. I serve as a coach for students in Inter University Business Challenges and quizzes. I have published a handbook of Marketing terms. Having served in both worlds I have enough experience to mentor in either worlds.

Dr. Michael Boakye-Yiadom is the Director-General and Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (IEPA), a UNESCO Category II Centre of Excellence at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Ghana.

Furthermore, he serves as co-instructor of the IEPA, UCC – University of Maryland College Park Global Classroom Initiative; a facilitator of the University at Buffalo – University of Cape Coast Leadership Empowerment Academy; and a coordinator of the University of Cape Coast – Tampere University Student and Staff Mobility Programme (2020/2021 – 2022/2023) under the auspices of Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility. His other professional engagements include student affairs in higher education consultant for the Association of African Universities (AAU); member of the Education Sector Research Group (ESRG) at the Ministry of Education, Ghana; and Board member of Transforming Teaching, Education and Learning (T-TEL), Ghana.

Dr. Michael Boakye-Yiadom is committed to mentoring, educating, and learning from others. He brings his practical experiences to the classroom and develops an intentional approach of applying theory to practice in his engagement with students, faculty, staff and policy makers. His engagement with educational institutions in Africa, Europe and North America is supported through collaborative research and innovations in education. Throughout his career, he has presented research outcomes and facilitated workshops at local, regional, national and international levels.
